Radiofrequency Endovenous Ablation (RF)
Radiofrequency Endovenous Ablation was first introduced back in 1999 VNUS
procedure, EndoVenous Laser Ablation ( EVLA) followed few years after.
RF and Laser Ablation equipment evolved and improved over the years, however
our RF equipment is packed up in a box and no longer used, due to the
bulkiness of the catheter, when compared to thin and flexible laser fiber.
VNUS/RF procedure is still being performed by some physicians, however due to bulkiness of the catheter, when compared to thin and flexible laser fiber, VNUS/RF is no longer offered in our clinic.
With the introduction of the 1470nm diode laser for EndoVenous Laser Ablation, as of today EVLA is still the most reliable method of treatment main axial veins.
In today's modern medicine, diagnostic ultrasounds are the ears and eyes of a varicose vein doctor.
Our physician Jozef Tryzno, MD, RVT, DABVLM has been diagnosing and performing treatments of varicose veins since 1998. Dr. Tryzno personally conducts all venous ultrasound evaluations to fully assess the extent of patient's condition, whereas commercialized vein clinics will have ultrasound technicians that communicate with the surgeon. If you decide to have your veins treated at IVIS, rest assured Dr. Tryzno will be there for you every step of the way, from first exam, through each procedure, and all follow up visits.
