Depending on urgency of skin condition, some surgical or cosmetic treatments, can be done the same day.

Most of them with use of Surgical CO2 Laser instead of scalpel

Occasionally, a patient will ask why we choose lasers over a traditional scalpel for procedures performed at our office. Surgical CO₂ Lasers with cutting mode is simply a surgical tool, frequently used in plastic surgery, oral surgery, general surgery, dermatology, and many others.

CO2 laser is an excellent choice for evaporation of elevated skin growths like skin tags, seborrheic keratosis, actinic keratosis, small facial nevi.
Concentrated beam of surgical CO₂laser light delivers a cleaner, more precise cut than even the sharpest scalpel could make, however they are more difficult to use than a typical scalpel, which is why not every doctor will use them.
Surgical CO₂lasers can be used instead of surgical scalpel in procedures involving removal of all benign and malignant skin growths.
Use of CO₂ lasers in skin excision decreases amount of bleeding during procedure and reduces postoperative discomfort.
Surgical CO₂ lasers utilize “cutting” mode which is different from “fractional” CO2 used for skin resurfacing.
